When it came to our wedding stationery, I had a very specific vision: classic, timeless, and elegant—with just the right amount of modern simplicity. I’ve always believed that the paper details set the tone for the entire wedding, and I wanted ours to reflect a sense of quiet luxury—something that felt like us from the very beginning. Initially I thought I could DIY a lot of the stationery. I even bought a printer, but I learned quick, it’s sometimes easier to just buy it. And I fell in love with a ton of stuff off Minted. It can be pricey, so I often waited until there was a discount.
After looking through what felt like hundreds of options, I kept returning to Minted. Their collections are beautifully designed, highly customizable, and best of all—everything coordinates effortlessly. From our invitations to our escort cards and signage, nearly every piece came from Minted. And for the rest? A few intentional DIYs and details helped pull the whole vision together.
For our invitation suite, we started with a classic black and white invitation suite with gold accents. I wanted something timeless but with a modern edge, and Minted delivered exactly that. Clean typography, subtle layout choices, and a palette that felt elegant without being overdone.
To elevate the suite even further, I did a little DIY magic—I added gold foil by hand to parts of the design. It was subtle and delicate, but it added just the right amount of shine and personality. I used a simple foil transfer method, carefully applying the foil to select areas to catch the light. It was such a fun process and made each invite feel that much more personal and unique.

Then, I wrapped each suite in a printed vellum jacket—another layer of elegance and texture. I sealed them with a gold wax seal and used vintage stamps for the postage, which I curated piece by piece to match our theme. The result was a beautifully layered, tactile experience that guests truly appreciated.
For our menus, I found a design that mirrored the rest of our stationery with the same black, white, and gold palette and classic wedding script. Having them at each place setting added a touch of formality that felt right for our overall aesthetic.

We also ordered custom drink signs from Minted, which were displayed at each bar in chic gold frames. They were simple, stylish, and perfectly on-brand. Plus, they helped tie in the overall color scheme and feel throughout the reception.

One detail I knew I wanted from the start: escort cards instead of a large seating chart. While seating charts can be beautiful, I’ve always found they cause a bit of crowding and chaos during cocktail hour. Escort cards feel much more elegant and offer a smoother guest experience.

We ordered our escort cards from Minted, keeping everything consistent with the fonts, paper, and overall look. Displaying them in an organized and stylish layout added a moment of sophistication as guests entered the reception.
To make sure every paper element flowed together seamlessly, we also ordered our table numbers from Minted. Styled in the same fonts and finishes as the rest of our suite, they blended perfectly with the tablescape. I placed them in minimalist gold holders that echoed the rest of our décor—simple, chic, and cohesive.

Our full wedding stationery collection—from the first save-the-date to the last escort card—was exactly what I had imagined: refined, modern, and thoughtful. With the help of Minted, plus a few DIY touches like hand-applied gold foil and vellum wraps, we were able to make every detail feel intentional.
It’s easy to overlook stationery in the bigger picture of wedding planning, but to me, it was one of the most enjoyable parts. It allowed me to be creative, hands-on, and totally in control of the vibe we were setting for our day. And Minted made the process so seamless without sacrificing quality or style.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels timeless with a twist, I can’t recommend Minted enough—and don’t be afraid to add those small personal touches. Sometimes the smallest details have the biggest impact.
We’re just ordered our thank you cards off Minted as well. We’re so excited to send them out. Below is a preview of our design.

Other mentionable Wedding stationery we bought off Minted was our Save The Dates and Wedding Shower Invites.
